for instance, I got my ass completely handed to me in a battle, so on my second attempt I piled barrels of gunpowder & wine near where the enemies would run out, and had one of my guys posed with a fire spell to ignite them. and THIS TIME, I triggered a massive explosion on my first turn of combat, instantly killing my entire party.
wasted a lot of expensive items recently bc one of my guys got pushed into lava, and I couldn’t reach their body to revive it. so I started shooting explosive arrows at their corpse, to make the body fly into the air & land somewhere closer. felt very disrespectful to the corpse. ANYWAYS I finally got their body within reach, resurrected them……and then they immediately died again because, oops, still in the lava!! did this a few more times (just to make sure) before giving up, gave them a tearful farewell, carried on, only to find out there’s a guy at your campsite who resurrects people for only 200 gold. for perspective, a single arrow is like 300.
